Honest photographs for joyful, intentional weddings.

Your wedding deserves to feel completely and uniquely like you: bold, playful, a little eclectic, and never like you’re performing.

From tearjerker speeches (I will absolutely be crying) to a raging dance floor (I will be participating), the best moments are always the ones you don’t have to think too hard about curating, just let the candid moment have space to breathe.

You’re drawn to an editorial feel, but don’t want anything overproduced, cheesy, or forced. You care about having timeless, artistic images that capture your day…and if it rains..it rains…and if the electricity goes out then you’ll build a fire and light some candles.

Good news. You’re in the right place, because that’s my personal nightmare, too. I describe my style as casual luxury, loose editorial wedding photography for couples who want a day that feels stress-free, personal, and entirely their own. This is about good taste, personal style, and the honesty of your relationship woven through it all.

Photographs that feel as good as they look.

I’m always going to be an advocate for beautiful photographs, art directed and all, but not at the risk of sacrificing the moments that make them meaningful. My signature coverage is designed to support a fully immersive wedding day experience. Years from now, your photos will feel connected to actual lived memories, (not just hearing your photographer’s voice the whole time).

present over perfection

What You Can Expect, In Real Life.

Your priorities become my own from the jump. We’ll create a shared language around what style of photography you’re drawn to, whether it be from wedding inspiration, or interior design features, or even past trips you’ve been on or aspire to visit! That’s just one of the things that gives your photos their own fingerprint.

My approach is rooted in documentary truth, shaped with an editorial eye for design, and carried out with a genuine care and respect for the people around me. Think editorial influence, not interference.

As a documentary photographer, keeping a posture of readiness throughout your wedding day changes the gallery from expected moments captured as you might expect, to, “I didn’t even know that happened!!” Always paying attention, always anticipating, and always looking for the in-between moments that most people miss.

The result is a stress-free wedding photography experience where digital and film come together to capture your day authentically.

  • “Gillian is an incredible photographer who captures both the big moments and the candid ones with ease. Her professionalism and ability to connect with everyone made the day even better. As a professional photographer myself, trusting someone with my vision was a huge decision, and I couldn’t have chosen anyone better. I absolutely loved the final images. She is the best.”

  • “We started looking for a wedding photographer without a clear plan, and trusting Gillian to guide the experience and our day was the best decision we made.

Her attention to detail, organization, and enthusiasm were incredible, and my family still talks about how comfortable she made everyone feel. My sister is already talking about hiring her for her engagement and wedding next year. The photos are breathtaking... She captured moments we didn’t even know happened. We printed all of them immediately. She captured the love and emotion of the day perfectly. Highly, highly recommend!”

  • “I don’t even know where to start—HIRE HER. Gillian is amazing: easy to work with, super organized, and genuinely down-to-earth. Her eye for special moments is perfect, and my sneak peeks were absolutely stunning. Even my mom pulled me aside to say how sweet and wonderful she was. Breathtaking photos and incredible work!”

    — Yvonne & Brandon, 2021

  • “THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We were completely blown away—every single photo (and there were a ton) looked incredible. From the funny candid moments to the perfectly posed ones, she captured everything seamlessly. We were truly in love with every image. She had everyone laughing—my grandpa even flirted with her all night (sorry gill). Booking Gillian means your wedding is in great hands. We’ll be using her for every special moment from here on out.”

    — Hannah & Seth, 2025

  • “Working with Gillian was an absolute honor—she is truly one of the most talented photographers you’ll ever meet.

From the start, she listened closely, understood our vision, and made us feel completely at ease. We wanted a hands-off, documentary/editorial approach, and she delivered the perfect blend of everything we hoped for. On our wedding day, she brought such a fun, uplifting energy.

Our whole bridal party adored her. She captured candid, magical moments we didn’t even know we wanted. Her film photos were stunning and genuinely exceeded our expectations. We also did an engagement shoot with her, which was just as incredible and made the wedding day feel even more comfortable and special. Gillian is everything you could hope for—talented, genuine, and a joy to have by your side. Choosing her will be the easiest and best decision you make.”
